Cincinnati Leather Values and Code of Conduct

Cincinnati Leather supports leather and kink communities through monthly social and educational events, as well as annual leather and critter/handler contest weekends. We focus on queer kinksters but we are open to all. It is essential to us that our events and spaces are fun, supportive, and safe for everyone in attendance. In order to assure safety at our events and in our spaces, we have the following guidelines that we expect all participants to follow:

Be kind. Treat others the way they want to be treated.

Do not express any homophobia, transphobia, enbyphobia, racism, sexism, body shaming, or any other form of “ism” or phobia.

Use the correct pronouns when speaking to or about someone. If you misgender someone, briefly apologize, use the correct pronoun, and move on.

Consent is vital. Do not touch or interact with others without permission.

Aggressive language and behavior will not be tolerated. Examples include but are not limited to: threats, verbal harassment, physical assault, nonconsensual abusive language, and sexual language directed at people who have made it clear that they’re not interested.

If someone isn’t following these guidelines, please find a board member and talk to them about it, and we’ll address the situation.

Yours in Leather and Kink,

Dan “Daddy RedBull” Mess (he/him), Chair
Turk (they/them), Treasurer
Ramon “Porkchop” Spurlock (he/him), Secretary
Alex Cameron (she/her), Member-at-Large
